Mamdani Rolls Out His Plan for World Dominance
The recent election of Mamdani to be Mayor of NYC has sent chills down the spine of every lover of the Constitution. Where will he begin to shred the government, to create new pogroms, to eliminate the bulwarks against excess? There is every reason to be concerned but there is more that can and should be done to limit his misuse of government for alt-government purposes.
First, the most important promise that anyone in public office can make is the last one they made – their Oath of Office. I’m sure Mamdani will give lip service to the Oath (like Obama who took it twice but never kept it once with Obamacare); but afterwards, all the anti-Constitutional/anti-government (read establishment) rhetoric will take center stage. And I’m sure that among the many promises he has made, he will insure that the trains and busses run on time. That was Mussolini's initial claim to fame as well.
Mamdani is a mixture of socialist, communist, fascist, and Islamist ideologies that are about to take center stage.
· Socialist: Mamdani claims he will redistribute wealth.
· Communist: Mamdani intends to take wealth by force in order to redistribute it (a step beyond socialism).
· Fascist: Fascism is the government takeover of private business; Mamdani claims to take over apartment buildings to secure the rent. [Antifa is a mis-representation of anti-racism.]
· Islamist: Mamdani is a Muslim who has given voice to Islamist Terrorism.
Combined, they represent Mamdani's Cancel Culture. So, which of these ‘promises made’/’promises kept’ do you think are constitutional? None actually. So, Mr. Mamdani has a problem. He’s fighting a fight he cannot win and we need to help him learn that lesson.
As the office of Mayor is a part of the city government of New York City, he is not secured by Sovereign Immunity. Further, he was not elected to be a dictator but a Mayor. That means everyone on the City Council will have to vote for his proposals or they will not get enacted. And if they do get enacted contrary to the Constitution and Laws of our nation, Council members and the Mayor can be sued in open Court. If you think Mr. Trump went through the legal wringer in NYC, think again. Mr. Mamdani will demonstrate what that is all about throughout his tenure.
Further, the Courts can legitimately intervene in the exercise of government gone awry; misfeasance, malfeasance, and abuse of power will not go on unchecked. Cases brought before the Court (which should be sent to the Supreme Court first for Judicial Review) can forestall the political actions of government; the Court has and will take action on any Act of NYC that is unconstitutional. These may include limiting Acts that:
· Redistribute funds allocated for a public service to private citizens in order to fulfill campaign promises.
· Tax private citizens for the express purpose of redistributing wealth (The public recapture of private funds (taxes) is for the public’s service; not private citizens.)
· Take over private businesses by government compulsion under the threat of reprisals.
· Institutes Sharia Law, which is at the foundation of Islamist Terrorism.
This list is not exhaustive but it presents a clear picture of where we may begin to put the rhetoric of Mamdani on hold while we work to secure proper legal redress for the benefit of all citizens.
And always remember:
Be not overcome with evil; rather, overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21)
